报告摘要：For 2D compressible Euler equations of gas dynamics, we prove the structural stability of mixed Riemann configurations containing centered rarefaction waves and surfaces of discontinuities(such as vortex sheets), by deriving simultaneous energy estimates for acoustic and vorticity waves within the rarefaction wave region and the nonlinear superpositions of rarefaction waves with other waves such as vortex sheets. This is joint work with Prof. Jin Jia of Hunan University.
主讲人简介： 罗涛，1995年于中国科学院数学研究所获得博士学位，后于美国密歇根大学（University of Michigan）、乔治城大学（Georgetown University）历任助理教授、副教授、教授，现为香港城市大学教授。研究方向和学术兴趣包括双曲守恒律、流体力学的数学理论、变分原理、自由边值问题等。在双曲守恒律、流体力学方程自由边值问题研究等方面作出了一系列重要工作，研究成果发表于Comm. Pure Appl. Math.、Arch. Rational Mech. Anal.、Comm. Math. Phys.等国际著名刊物。
